From 1 April 2008 staff can no longer accept verbal requests for prescriptions.  They must be made in writing, either by post, request form, e-mail or on-line.

We now offer late appointments (up to 8.00 pm) on Tuesdays.  You can book these via EMIS Access or at reception.

TEXT MESSAGE SERVICE:         .                            We now offer a text reminder service for appointments and health checks in the near future.   If you would like to use this service please complete a consent form at the practice.

 

Clinics & Services

Practice Nursing & Phlebotomyimmunise.jpg

The Practice Nurse can give a variety of advice/treatment including cervical smears, travel vaccinations (please ring 2-3 months before you travel), child immunizations and contraception. She is also involved with reviews of chronic diseases. There are twice weekly clinics for taking blood samples.


Counselling

Counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy are provided at the surgery. Referral is made by the doctors. 


Community Services

876194.jpgThe practice offers full antenatal and postnatal care. The midwives undertake most of the care during pregnancy. Health Visitors are involved with baby/child care and are available for advice (tel: 01543-682817).
The practice is in close liaison with District Nurses, Physiotherapists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Pharmacists, Chiropodists and Dieticians.
